The La Nina Consortium aims to support communities living in the arid and semi- arid lands (ASALs) of Northern Kenya to cope and recover from drought crises, food insecurity and other shocks and stresses, as well as to help them prepare and plan for future crises. In order to do so, the partners work to build on emergency response and invest in strengthening the resilience of people in the longer term.
The purpose of this evaluation is to learn about the design and implementation of the La Nina Consortium during Phases III and IV and to assess the impact of the project activities on the target populations in across the 7 counties of intervention1 including the added value of working as a consortium.
