Charles Wanguhu, Coordinator, Kenya Platform on Oil and Gas Platform (KCSPOG)

Charles Wanguhu is a social activist and is the coordinator of the Kenya Civil Society Platform on Oil and Gas. At the platform he coordinates civil society organisations to provide a collective voice on Oil, Gas and broader extractive issues. Wanguhu is an alumnus of the Draper Hills Fellow Program at Stanford University's Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law and holds an LLM Masters in Law International and Commercial Dispute Resolution. Wanguhu has contributed to civil society reports, academic pieces as well as a recent book Africa's New Oil . In recognition of his knowledge on Oil and Gas matters in East Africa Wanguhu has made key presentations at Chatham House, and at panels at the Brookings Institute as well as key informant interviews for press pieces.
